Engines – A 1.2 liter turbocharged revtron petrol engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 140 Nm, powers the Bolt. The diesel variant of the car runs on a 1.3-liter Multijet engine capable of generating 75 bhp of top power. A 3-cylinder unit that can generate 75 bhp of power powers the petrol variant of Polo. However, the diesel variant has a more powerful 1.5-liter TDI diesel engine is of 89 bhp of power and 230 Nm of torque under its hood.

Price – Bolt carries a price of INR 4.44 lakh and above, with the diesel variant costing INR 5.49 lakh and above. The Volkswagen Polo OnRoad Price, on the other hand, is more costly at INR 4.99 lakh and above.

Features – Tata Bolt has been designed contemporarily to take on the feature rich cars like Polo. It comes with many attractive features like projector headlights, ORVMs integrated with turn indicators and 15-inch alloy wheels and so on. Polo also come with features like automatic climate control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, Bluetooth connectivity, touch-screen infotainment system with navigation and voice commands along with steering mounted controls and so on.

Safety – Polo is the safest car of the duo as it is equipped with features like dual front airbags and much more as standard features across all trims. Tata Bolt also offer many safety features, but not as standard.
